Positrak would like to announce the arrival of PAS-Cat, the Positrak ACES Standard Catalog: the first in a series of Microsoft-based technologies being developed by Positrak.

In order to stay at the forefront of technology, Positrak has developed in-house our very own catalog. By adopting the ACES standard, set forth by the Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAIA), Positrak no longer has to rely on limited and inconsistent third party sources.

PAS-Cat is an internet-based catalog. This provides countless benefits right away. First, the catalog is updated on a real-time basis. There's no waiting on a CD or other type of media for catalog corrections, updates, or additions. In fact, if you see a line missing from the catalog, it can be quickly added, and in most cases can be available within 24 hours upon receipt from the manufacturer. Catalog user accounts can be set up same-day, and lines can be managed by Positrak support.

PAS-Cat displays parts for medium duty trucks, like Kodiaks, and more - something not found in other catalogs without paying additional fees. The catalog includes lines that are most popular with mid-Atlantic parts warehouses such as Uniselect, UCI/Hahn, and ASWA, and includes W/D short lines. Our software is even backwards compatible - so that manufacturers who haven't yet adopted the ACES standard will not be excluded.

To tie it all together, PAS-Cat is integrated right back to your inventory with Positrak on Windows (POW) Point of Sale.
